Double Trouble!

I'm lucky enough to have a sister who, along with her older son, has twins too! A boy and a girl! So plenty of photo opportunities when we visit them.

One of my favourite things (along with photographing weddings!) is photographing children - especially when they relax and play in their favourite surroundings. I'm happy to visit clients at their homes or meet them at a favourite spot such as the park, the beach or the woods - if children are enjoying themselves playing, it's easy to catch the joyful moments for some wonderful resulting prints!

Inspiring Annabel!

My photography friends, Gail, Bev and I, attended an evening seminar in London where the wonderful Annabel Williams talked about her work and how she was inspired to get to where she is today. We came away with lots of ideas and plenty of inspiration and enthusiasm. Really looking forward to putting some of these ideas into practice at my next wedding shoot!

It was great to spend time back in London again too - where there is ALWAYS something to photograph, regardless of the weather!

Winter Wedding

My friend, Bev, and I regularly shoot weddings and portrait sessions together - this means we can capture different sides of one wedding - one of us can get the candids whilst the other concentrates on getting the "main" photos.

We were so lucky with the weather for this wedding in February - although it was cold the late afternoon sun appeared which meant we got some lovely low light shots! St Peters Brewery, near Beccles was a beautiful setting - surrounded by a moat with a lovely old building and barns housing the brewery section. A delicious "malty" smell made us all want mugs of a malt drink!
